    Oh yeah, nothing more 'anti-American than the truth about the Constitution, and the 'legal' profession's obsession with corrupting it in every way imaginable.

    One of my favorite questions for the Constitutionally ignorant: "Why did it take a Constitutional Amendment to outlaw alcohol, but it didn't to outlaw marijuana, or cocaine, or opium, or LSD, or...."

      I think most scholars would agree that the constitutional amendment to ban alcohol was an ill conceived move on our part. "but it didn't take ...marijuana". What's your point? Should we have erred again and passed another amendment?

      If the book is anything like the review it might be a good read.

        My point is that Congress managed to ignore longstanding opinion that an Amendment was required, and the public just chewed their cud, and nodded off in the sun.

        The error is the same, it is only compounded by ignoring the Constitution to commit it.
