Protest Across America »
Posted By populist 1 year, 9 months ago in Arts & EntertainmentBeing in Kansas made me recall the night I arrived at Leavenworth Penitentiary on a prison bus. It was a dark and stormy night all right. The lighting cracked and the front steps looked like a thousand steps straight up to hell.

The article has the kind of sound one expects to find on NPR, All Things Considered, or on Sunday morning with a cup of coffee. I can fully appreciate the peacenik movement and would gladly accept the opportunity to have the author come out my way. If ever in Edinboro PA, do drop in.
Peace one and all.

This brings back memories of times past!
It is as if America has to hurt itself bad to be born again as a free nation, a guiding light for the free world again.
Why must it be this way? Why can't we ever learn from the history and not make the same horrible mistake of putting the wrong people in power, people who are hell bent to destroy whatever is good with our country, our proud traditions, our great institutions, our Constitution, our hard-won liberties and our proud, upright, honest and brave people who have built and nurtured our beautiful country?
Some day, this darkness will be over and we will once again see the bright sunshine of truth and decency!
It can't come too soon!
Peace and Blessings!

Have to give him credit for his convictions. Said last time, I do not agree with all of his beliefs but he is willing to stand up. Easy to blog and express dissatisfaction but its another matter to be willing to go to jail and persist in attempting to change a misjustice you perceive. Myself, I am willing to admit these thoughts came to late in my life to express radically now.

Regardless of how many of the things I agree or disagree with, I'm glad there are people out there with that kind of courage to actually stand up for their convictions. To actually say out loud what many people just think!
